Hawaii Quilt Shows & Events

Quilts are woven through the fabric of Hawaii's history, and represent stories of births, love and tragedy. Explore these stories through the hundres of quilt shows and exhibitions Hawaii has each year. Also, be sure to visit the many art galleries and museums throughout the islands.

Quilters Resources prides itself in being your most comprehensive resource for quilting related information on the internet; however, please understand that circumstances beyond our control may limit the accuracy of posted information. I am not always made aware of event changes and/or cancellations. As such, please be sure to verify dates, times, and locations prior to traveling to any event.

If you have an event addition and/or updated information, please e-mail all of the details (dates and time, name of show, location including complete address and state, website or Facebook page, contact information, and any additional information deemed necessary).

Discover the Magic of Zentangle and Notan art. Notan is the Japanese word for dark/light. This technique expresses the drama and power of black interacting with white in a dance of balance and harmony. The yin-yang symbol is an example of this interplay.Remember that you do not need to be a trained artist in order to create beautiful art with the Zentangle method. In this class all you need to know is how to cut paper, paste and draw a dot, a line, a curved line and a circle. Fabric artists, Hawaiian quilt makers and others will see how this technique can be applied to their work.Join instructors Lois & Earl Stokes on Saturday September 17, from 10AM-1PM. Cost: $35/$30 VAC Members plus $10 Supply Fee.Light refreshments will be provided.
